Just wanted to say that I'm still here, resting, relaxing, taking each day as I can. Today was a good day, drove to Starbucks for a tea, it was great to get out and drive...I'm just hanging out doing what I want to do day by day. I can only live for the day. My chemo regimen right now is 5 consecutive days then off for my blood numbers to come up...and one each of those days it's at least a five hour (not a typo) treatment...and what is that treatment like ( Read more... )

Ok, my numbers were good (actually really good) to go ahead with treatment this week...but I still feel like crap. The mornings are the toughest, it takes awhile to get with it. The nurse said I could wait a week, but why would I? I'm not going to feel much better after a week, my body needs about a year off from this crap, which I'll never get ( Read more... )

Well, it's not. Once again, my blood work decided not to cooperate with any kind of schedule. One number, my platelets have to be at 100 or better to get treatment. Last Monday, it was at 73...by Friday, 53. Yesterday it climbed back up to 63. So, it has 6 more days to get to 100. While I don't doubt it will get there by then, it won't be ( Read more... )
